Avoiding the temptation

I drove the Prius to work (church) today and when I got home Vic asked if I showed it off to anyone. Of course not... I thought. I told him that I didn't want to look like I was showing off. But then he asked me, "well, don't you want more people to know what they're like so they are encouraged to buy one?" Yes, of course I want more people to buy hybrid cars...but where do I draw the line? I'm still feeling the weirdness (I won't use the word guilt..thanks Debbie) of owning an expensive car.

So, do you gals and guys want to see a photo or would I be showing off?

Katie,

Yes, you bought an expensive car, but you bought a hybrid, not some sort of pretentious luxury car just for the hell of it. Feel free to show it off a little bit if people are interested.

I think I'm starting to get over my insecurities and own up to who I have become. Let's save the world one hybrid at a time!

Your car may have been expensive, but in the long run you are saving much more (and in so many different ways beside financially) than if you had purchased a less expensive non-hybrid. Be proud of your purchase and of yourself you silly goose!
