Mittens!

I finished my first pair of mittens last night at Stitch n Bitch with the help of Paula. I think they are totally fun and now that I have the basic idea, the next pair should look a little better. However, I don't usually keep my projects and I'm wondering what to do with these new creations.

What do you think?

You are a mitten knittin' goddess....there are a number of charities that take knitted wool mittens. In fact there is one called Knitting for an Elder that sends hand knit wool items to elders on the Navajo reservation in northern Arizona. I have a pair I've been meaning to send to them, we could put them in the same package and ship them off. Otherwise, they'd make a cute present for a friend in a cold weather climate.

I like the charity idea. We'll send them off next week! You bring the address and I'll try to remember the packaging.

Geez, thanks for mentioning I helped too!

Well, okay, so all I did was tell you how to do the three-needle bind-off, and Paula did most of the work, but still...

They rock! I should make a pair soon. what time do you want to go to VW tomorrow?
